Internet Explorer 7 PRO

Whilst trying to find an emulator for Internet Explorer 6, I stumbled across this handy little add on for Windows Internet Explorer 7. Installing Internet Explorer 7 PRO opens up a whole new world of options that, in some peoples view, may either help or hinder your browsing experience. Having used the tools for only a short amount of time, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were a great help. As well as being able to re-size your page, you can also;

Super Drag Drop - drag a link to open it in a new tab
Inline Search
Spell Check
Better Print Screen Options - simply select the page you want to save from the menu and the format you want to save it in
IE is faster - thanks to the "prefetching", Internet Explorer utilises idle bandwidth to download and cache links so that they are ready for quick display when you select them.
AD Blocker and Flash Blocker
You can also refresh tabs automatically, setting an individual time on each tab that you have open - particularly useful for eBay!

Aliens V Predators - Requiem

With the launch of the new movie, I decided to check out the website to see what it was all about - having been dissapointed with the first one, I was quite dubious with this new release. However, I am prepared to give it a go...

I grabbed this widget from the offical website (http://www.avp-r.com) where you can create your own "PredAlien" (below) though I think "Alietor" would have sounded better! Anyway, whilst you think about going to see this film, create your own and send someone a facehugger e-card (see entry below)...nice!! ;)

Using a Wii remote on your PC

This is so cool!

No more annoying WASD keying! Use the Wiimote to play your first person shooters...watch the video to see how it's done. I haven't yet tried this due to lack of a Wiimote at present but will acquire one and give it a go - keep checking back for an update!
